PLECS Workshop

Three Day Advanced Workshop on Modeling and Simulation of Power Electronic Systems

Content

The workshop specifically addresses development engineers who already have experience with the simulation software PLECS.

In the workshop, you will learn modeling techniques to make your simulations of power electronic circuits and controls even faster. We will consequently apply the top-down approach of PLECS where individual components are modeled as simple as possible and as detailed as necessary. In addition, the workshop offers many opportunities to get in touch with the developers of PLECS.

The first day includes a short introduction to PLECS and into numerical simulation algorithms which will enable you to always pick the right solver for achieving maximum speed and accuracy.

The first two days cover all important concepts of the PLECS Blockset and PLECS Standalone, including thermal, magnetic and mechanic modeling, script programming and analysis tools. PLECS software licenses will be provided.

On day three we focus on Processor-in-the-Loop simulation with PLECS. You will learn how to set up a PIL simulation from scratch. An evaluation board of Texas Instruments and the required software will be provided.

The detailed agenda (flyer) is available below.

Participation Fee

The delegate fee of EUR 1150.00 covers the workshop participation, documentation, gala dinner on Monday and Tuesday and lunch on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

"The seminars combined with hands-on training provided by application engineers from Plexim are packed with insightful tips and techniques. Let me paraphrase newspaper editor Arthur Brisbane here. A Plexim workshop is worth a thousand page long manual. Be there!"
