Thermal Modeling in PLECS: Part 2

This tutorial video provides the viewer with information on more advanced concepts of thermal modeling in PLECS. The user will learn about modeling the thermal impedance representing the junction-to-case transition. We will also show how to run a Steady-State Analysis for quickly obtaining the normal operating temperature of a device. Finally, a method to calculate averaged device losses is demonstrated.

While the demonstration is completed using PLECS Standalone, all of the concepts shown are also relevant in PLECS Blockset.
